EDIT: Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control, our conference had to be postponed. More information soon once we have rescheduled.
Bookings are now open for our second annual conference on Saturday 25th November. The theme of the conference is The Future of Regional Heritage, and the day will include panel presentations and roundtables that explore success stories, innovations, possibilities, and the challenges facing regional organisations, collections and events in the historical sector. We are very grateful for the generous support of Arts North West and the UNE Smart Region Incubator.
Tickets can be purchased at TryBooking.
Call for proposals
Have you been involved with a successful or innovative heritage-related project in the New England or North West NSW? We’re seeking expressions of interest for short panel presentations of 10-15 minutes that summarise the implementation of ideas and strategies, and the successes and recommendations arising from the project.
We’re envisaging panels will be held for each of three broad streams, although these may be adjusted depending on proposals received:
A. Museums & collections
B. Local & family history research
C. Living history & special interest groups
Expressions of interest should be approximately one page and briefly outline your project and why it was successful and/or innovative. Dot points are fine!
Please send your expression of interest with contact details to Bronwyn Clarke, email: bronwyn@heritagenenw.org.au If you have questions, please contact Bronwyn on 0438752011
